A good designer will have accounts set up with many manufacturers of luxury and everyday items and will very often pass the savings along to their clients. Even with paying an hourly rate to your designer for shopping services you will save a ton of money, and if you need to furnish an entire room or a whole house you will save thousands of dollars!
And with so much business being done over the internet your designer doesn't even have to live in your area. Most manufacturers will accept the order from your designer and will ship directly to you. If there is something you are interested in buying, it's worth a quick call to a designer to see if they can save you some money by purchasing it for you.

Online "discount" retailers sell it for $5720. I was able to obtain it for my client for $3700.
That's a savings of $2,000 on just one item!!!

Many designer manufacturers have password encoded websites that are only available to those in the business so if there is something you need for your home ask your designer to do some research, send you photos and happy shopping!
